Hi!

I’m Anika! I grew up right here in Wisconsin and bounced around a little from Montana, Massachusetts, and Colorado but nothing stuck like the Midwest. I live here in Waunakee with my Husband & 3 kids. We have two teenage girls (15 & 13) & a four year old boy who was the best 40th birthday present I could have ever received.

I’ve been a nurse for 20 years, specializing in surgery. I have experience in day surgery, pre-op, post-op, PACU, operating room & med-surg. For the last 9 years I have been at the UW Children’s Hospital in the OR. I’m still there! That job can get a little heavy on my heart and heavy on my mind & Mint is the perfect place to use my skills and have a little fun with the lighter side of life.

In my free time I am likely at youth sports or in my car! Trace Adkins says I’m gonna miss this, I will let you know if he was right. You can find me hanging with family friends, outside doing anything active, working out, and escaping up North for Wisconsin Summers because they are the best.
